Paint and Play Playgroups are an outdoor drop-in style Playgroup which operates during school terms and caters for families with young children aged 0-5 years and are free to attend – a gold coin donation to help with resources would be appreciated.
Paint and Play Playgroups are facilitated by experienced development workers with a number of visiting community services to provide families with extra support.
Although held outdoors, Paint and Play Playgroups still provide a large range of activities you would find at an indoor playgroup, including;
- Painting (and lots of it)
- Craft and construction
- Sensory and messy play
- Books to share and enjoy together
Paint and Play Playgroups are held throughout the ACT and are a great way to socialise and meet other families in your local community. For a list of these groups in the ACT, click here.
You may or may not meet the same families from week to week, therefore, you might like to join a community playgroup if you are looking for a smaller, more intimate playgroup that meets indoors.
The ACT Paint and Playgroup Facebook page also provide updated information about Paint and Play, including cancellations due to weather, and photos and ideas from Paint and Play.
