ACT Playgroups have been running early support playgroups in the Canberra
area for over ten years under the MyTime and PlayConnect banners. Each
playgroup is run by qualified staff with support from local therapy based
organisations.
There are changes coming to the Early Support Program for 2023. Our current session times and locations are as listed.

- Tuesday – 10.00 am – 11.30 am at ACT Playgroups Cook, 41 Templeton Street, Cook
- Wednesday – 10.00 am – 11.30 am at – Woden Library (Life Lab Room Upstairs), Corinna Street, Phillip
- Thursday – 10.00 am – 11.30 am at Nicholls Community House, 30 Kelleway Ave, Nicholls
- Friday – 10.00 am – 11.30 am at the Tuggeranong Child and Family Centre, 159 Anketell Street, Greenway
My Time Playgroups and Peer Support Groups
My Time Playgroup and Peer Support Groups are for children and their families with additional needs or chronic illness. Children in our MyTime groups have been diagnosed with genetic disorders, hearing loss, speech delay, impaired mobility, developmental delay, and a variety of undiagnosed additional needs.
These are Playgroups and Parent Peer Support groups for children and their families with additional needs.
Age group: 0-18
PlayConnect playgroups
PlayConnect Playgroups are transitioning to be part of the National Early Childhood Program. These supported playgroups cater for children who may be facing challenges developmentally, and their families. More information will be available shortly.
A plan or referral is NOT required to attend the early support playgroups.
These playgroups run independently to the NDIS.
